Allison Archard, MD, Medical Advisory Member

Dr. Archard, a family physician who is board certified in family medicine as well as integrative and holistic medicine. She is also trained in medical acupuncture. Dr. Archard attended medical school at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and did her family medicine residency training at Exempla St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. She received her acupuncture training through Helms’ Medical Institute, an acupuncture training program for physicians. Dr. Archard believes in the importance of treating the whole person, which often involves using complementary medical modalities integrated into traditional medical care. As part of this philosophy she practices medical acupuncture here at Progressive Health Center.

Andrea Cohen, MD, Medical Advisory Member

Dr. Cohen is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, the American Board of Holistic Medicine, and the American Society of Neurorehabilitation. She has practiced holistic neurology for the past 10 years and currently maintains a holistic neurology practice in Denver. While serving as assistant professor of Neurology at the University of Miami School of Medicine, she helped lead the way in establishing neurorehabilitation as an area of specialty. She is also the author of Comprehensive Management of Parkinson's Disease, a groundbreaking book that is among the first to outline a holistic approach to treating this condition. Dr. Cohen also has been instrumental in establishing a holistic surgery program at Colorado's Lutheran Medical Center.

Joseph H. Fillmore, MD, MBA Medical Advisory Member

Dr. Fillmore, MD specializes in both rehabilitation and pain medicine at CCSI with a strong emphasis in non-operative as well as interventional procedures to treat musculoskeletal and spinal pain conditions. He also provides electro diagnostic services. A graduate of the University Of Illinois College Of Medicine, Dr. Fillmore completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the renowned Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and the Northwestern University Medical School. He completed a fellowship in interventional pain and musculoskeletal medicine at Georgia Pain Physicians in Atlanta. Additionally, he completed an internal fellowship in anesthesia-based pain medicine with Advanced Pain and Anesthesia Consultants in Chicago. He is Board Certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine.

Prior to joining CCSI, Dr. Fillmore practiced interventional pain medicine and rehabilitation with Advanced Pain and Anesthesia Consultants (APAC) and highly regarded Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, both located in Chicago. Concurrently, he held dual faculty appointments in the Departments of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Orthopedics at Rush University Medical Center and Rush Medical College. He was the primary provider for workman’s compensation patients for both APAC’s Indiana and Illinois practices. Previously, he was a physician with Rehabilitation and Performance Medicine Specialists, a delayed recovery practice for workman’s compensation patients, in Denver Colorado. Dr. Fillmore is Level II certified in Colorado. An active runner, Dr. Fillmore is also a clinic advisor to the American Running Association. His other interests include sailing, marathons, triathlons, downhill skiing and acting.

Cori Millen, D. O., Medical Advisory Member

Dr. Millen is a board certified neurologist and fellowship trained headache specialist with an interest in Integrative Medicine. Dr Millen graduated from the Michigan State College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed both her residency and fellowship training at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Prior to medical school, Dr. Millen worked with Dr. Weil’s Program in Integrative Medicine in Tucson, AZ. When approaching patients and making treatment decisions, Dr. Millen believes in addressing not only the body but the mind and spirit as well.
