Jamie Mandell is the Chief Operations Officer at Progressive Health Center. Her passion for improving the lives of others has manifested itself in many ways throughout the years, from studying Cultural Anthropology and International Development at the University of Montana to helping build sustainable clean burning stoves in Africa. Jamie has also received her Wilderness First Responder medical training and has volunteered in communities around the country and the world. Before joining the Progressive team, Jamie worked with an organization that raises money through the sale of art to build children’s hospitals in Southeast Asia. Jamie has had her own health setbacks and is determined that nothing should get in the way of a person’s fair access to quality healthcare. To that end, Jamie volunteers with the Lupus Foundation of America and Village Aid Clinics, as well as Bicycles for Humanity.
Renee Carrillo began practicing yoga as an alternative to fast-paced cardio activities and discovered along the way that yoga lessened the frequency of migraines and helped her make it through extremely stressful times as a caregiver. After experiencing the relaxation and complete peace that yoga helps achieve, Renee was inspired to share the benefits yoga has to offer. In 2011 she completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with a Therapeutic Focus taught by Nancy Levenson. Renee enjoys sharing yoga with children which inspired her to become Yoga Calm certified in 2012, combining traditional postures, breathwork and activities that promote mindfulness, bring awareness to self and community, and offer time for kids to experience tranquility. In 2014 she completed Adaptive Yoga training under the guidance of Matthew Sanford. Renee is registered with Yoga Alliance and her volunteer efforts include the Wellness Initiative-Denver, Yoga in the Park-Highlands Ranch, assisting with Adaptive Yoga as well as guiding yoga practice for those affected by cancer, an opportunity for which she is very grateful. A Colorado native, Renee has great respect for Mother Nature and loves incorporating that aspect into a shared practice, putting the mat aside and stepping onto the earth to further connect with the collective vibration. Renee’s classes blend breath with movement, along with weaving guided meditations and singing bowls to immerse oneself in stillness. She invites the experience of deep relaxation through Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Renee’s passion is to create a yoga experience that people of all ages and abilities are able to explore, bringing about acceptance of the body, mind, and spirit allowing peace to be present within.
A fitness & wellness professional since 1996, Lauren has a strong background in health education, fitness instruction and wellness coaching for corporate and individual clients, and wellness program management. She graduated from Metro State in 2005; B.A. Leisure Studies with an emphasis on Recreation Management, and holds a diverse array of fitness and wellness certifications spanning the past two decades. As a Master fitness trainer, she fuses multiple disciplines into mind/body work that focuses specifically on individual wellness, needs, and goals.
With a mantra of ‘smarter, not harder’ she aims to make individual wellness a natural reflex to life's boomerangs and believes when we master the art of how to change our perceptions, we learn how to manage the symptoms that arise in our bodies and are better equipped to return to a regular state quickly.

Jennifer Davis is a certified aromatherapist and certified pharmacy technician with an emphasis in holistic health. She is the owner of Georgi Girl Oils, located in Denver, Colorado, where she lives with her husband and youngest daughter. She brings together her knowledge of aromatherapy, plant essences, and pharmacy to create unique phyto-essence options for her clients, providing an essential holistic therapy.
Jennifer is a professional member of NAHA, National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy. She is an enthusiastic educator who teaches various classes and workshops to fellow natural health professionals, medical professionals and the general public. She offers personal consultations with custom blending.
She collaborates with Progressive Health Center to create custom products and utilizes aromatherapy with employees and patients alike. Integrating holistic health practices and aromatherapy within the realm of allopathic medicine is a challenging undertaking; but, one for which she has much desire and intent.
Expanding her knowledge by taking aromatherapy courses or reading books on the subject delights her. Teaching on the art and science of essential oils enthralls her. Lyndsey Medina has been a personal trainer since 2008. She enjoys being outdoors in the mountains and particularly loves to snowboard. Lyndsey is passionate about helping people to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle. Her training includes exercise science, nutrition and stress management – all of which allow her to better help her clients accomplish their health goals.
Dierdre Mangan has been a licensed massage therapist since 2007. She graduated from Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences in New York City with an Associate in Occupational Studies. Since then, she has traveled around the US, working in New York, Vermont, and Colorado. Dierdre has gained her extensive massage experience working in athletic clubs, chiropractic offices, and high-end spas. Dierdre specializes in therapeutic rehabilitation, sports injury, and sports injury prevention massage. When standing over her massage table, she can be found enjoying the beauty of the outdoors while running, cycling, or skiing.
SonnetAguirre MS, RDN, CLC
Sonnet Aguirre, MS, RDN, CLC, is a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Science in Nutrition. She has a variety of experience in clinical, research, and community nutrition. She earned a Master’s Degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. Her diverse background includes stints in nutrition research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle, WA, and caring for patients within the Carondelet hospital network as a clinical dietitian in Tucson, AZ. She has extensive teaching experience in the community and at universities, including Metropolitan State University and Regis University in Colorado. Her experience also includes 1:1 counseling at a bariatric practice, a spine center, a diabetes center, and at the world-famous luxury wellness resort, Miraval. Sonnet’s deep commitment to healthy nutrition was born from a passion for food. She is eager to share her knowledge and expertise with the goal of inspiring people to create an individualized healthy food culture based on their needs and lifestyle— one that supports optimum health, vitality and sustainability.
Integrative Health Coach
Kim graduated from the University of Colorado with a B. A. in Communications. She spent 18 years working for Nordstrom, while suffering with numerous health issues such as asthma, acid reflex, food allergies, digestive issues, hormonal imbalances and a high level of stress. She began transitioning to a healthy lifestyle that required tuning into her body, which sparked a passion for nutrition and wellness. She is a Master Nutrition Therapist and works one-on-one with clients to set goals and objectives by using integrative therapies alongside conventional medicine along with teaching yoga for the last 10 years. She is also trained and certified as Integrative Health Coach through Duke University’s school of Integrative Medicine. Her wellness philosophy is inspire others to bring about change in their own lives, in their own way, by combining the art of self-care with the science of behavior change.
Sandra Shindoll completed her Masters in Science in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and completed post-grad studies with her teacher, Dr. Dong Ming Fan. Sandra is certified in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and Licensed in Colorado. Sandra graduated from the Center for Advanced Therapeutics with a Massage Therapist Certificate. Sandra also graduated from College America with an Associate’s Degree for Medical Assistant. Sandra is passionate about helping patients with a variety of issues, including, but not limited to, infertility, pain management, stroke, migraines, colds, seasonal allergies, headaches, asthma, PMS, menopause symptoms, neuropathy, cancer, and stress. Sandra’s style is very gentle and compassionate, emphasizing the needs of the patient and giving them hope for their health. Sandra’s private practice is located Denver, where she sees a variety of patients from OB/GYN, Geriatrics and Pediatrics. She has provided acupuncture for the Rocky Mountain Stroke Association and The Treatment Center XL, and used massage techniques at the Aurora Medical Center. Sandra began her medical and clinical career at The Medical Center Provider Network in Aurora as a Medical Assistant. Sandra is from New York and lives in Centennial with her husband and sons.
Kari Cruz graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts as a licensed massage therapist in 1999. Her experience includes Operating Room Technician for the United States Army Reserves, three years as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a nursing home, and Healing Touch Apprentice, where she learned energy work. Kari enjoys combining her experiences restoring the body’s balance and harmony, and helping people achieve peace and relaxation in body, mind, and spirit.
