Here's a brief overview of some of the primary neurological illnesses and injuries we can help clients address through our personalized therapy plans.
- Back and Neck Pain: Includes pain felt in the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other areas of the neck or back.
- Dementia: A progressive decline in cognitive function due to injury or disease that has resulted in damage that exceeds what might be expected from natural aging.
- Epilepsy: A chronic neurological condition most often associated with recurrent seizures.
- Headaches: A common local pain complaint that may originate in various areas of the head, sinuses or neck.
- Multiple Sclerosis (MS): A chronic disease that affects the brain and spinal cord and can be associated with vision problems, muscle weakness and/or speech and motor impairment.
- Parkinson's Disease: A muscle disorder often associated with uncontrollable tremors, muscle rigidity and a slowing or loss of movement.
- Peripheral Neuropathy: A neurological condition resulting in damage to the peripheral nervous system.
- Stroke: Acute neurological injuries that are caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain due to blood clots or other arterial complications.
- Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries: Injuries to the brain and/or spinal cord can be the result of trauma, lack of blood supply to the area, or physiologic interruptions of normal nervous system function.
