Laura Matthews

Laura Matthews is the owner of Holistic Pathways, an integrative family medicine clinic and retail store in Englewood.  Laura is a Certified Clinical Herbalist, Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Iyengar Yoga Teacher.  Laura graduated from Fort Lewis College (FLC) in Durango, Colorado; with a degree in Psychology.  During that time, Laura began working as an herbalist in local apothecaries.  After practicing as an herbalist for 5 years, Laura attended the Southwest School of Botanical Medicine in Bisbee, Arizona; taught by Michael Moore.  Laura has focused her studies in women's health and cancer and is a certified Women's Herbal Medicine Educator.  Laura attended the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado and is trained in Maya Abdominal Massage with Dr. Rosita Arvigo.  Laura became a Certified MAM Self-Care Massage Teacher and teaches regular workshops on the technique to massage therapists and midwives in our community.  Laura traveled to Pune, India to study at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute to attend classes taught by Sri Prashant and Smt. Geeta Iyengar; under the watchful eye of Yogacharya B.K.S. Iyengar.  By traveling around the world to study with the greatest healers, Laura's continued dedication to natural health and healing allows her to provide the community with a truly holistic approach to wellness.
