Practitioners

The Progressive Health Center brings together a diverse team of highly qualified, experienced practitioners who specialize in a wide range of complementary and holistic therapies, including nutrition, stress management, acupuncture, massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, meditation and more. Each professional maintains a holistic approach to care, focusing on understanding and addressing the mental, physical, spirit and emotional needs of each individual--in order to help them achieve their specific health and wellness goals.

Each of our therapists has been carefully selected based on specific criteria and qualifications, which include:

  • Minimum five years experience in professional discipline
  • Relevant state and local licenses or certifications (where relevant)
  • Professional liability insurance
  • Current CPR certification

Our Practitioners

Nancy Bilello is a licensed RN and acupuncturist with more than 20 years of experience as a health care practitioner. Her practice includes herbology, acupuncture, moxibustion and cupping as well as consultation on diet and lifestyle changes.

Nancy is dedicated to providing quality care for patients and her philosophy strongly emphasizes patient advocacy and patient education. Highly experienced in Eastern- and Western-based medical practices, she offers a unique integrated approach to helping individuals achieve their health and wellness goals through traditional and alternative therapies. Nancy received her nursing degree from Nassau Community College in 1988. She graduated in 1998 as a diplomat of acupuncture from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver. She is also certified in Chinese Herbs.


Virginia Bray is a certified nutrition therapist, a certified massage therapist and a licensed aesthetician. She is committed to utilizing her skills in alternative health and wellness environments to enhance the well being and quality of life for others. TOP

Backed by more than a decade of professional experience, Virginia works as an independent practitioner, providing nutrition, massage and skin care services to a diverse clientele throughout the Denver metro area. Prior to establishing her own practice, she was a full-time therapist for a Denver-based chiropractor, where she provided massage for patients to prepare for chiropractic adjustments. Virginia has completed her training at Nutrition Therapy Institute and Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado. She received her aesthetician license from Littleton Academy in 2000 and completed her undergraduate work in human development and family studies at Colorado State University. She is a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals and the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

Jessica Crandall is registered dietitian specializing in weight management, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, oncology, food allergies, irritable bowel as well as lifestyle changes for prevention care. TOP

Jessica earned her bachelor’s degree at Colorado State University. She completed her post Graduate work in Oneonta New York and rotations at Rose Medical Center, which is accredited by the American Dietetics Association. She has spent 3 years in the acute setting as well as 3 years in an outpatient facility. Jessica also provides our patients with a readily accessible and reliable source of dietary consultation for all nutritional concerns. Jessica believes in making changes that are individualized to your needs and preferences. She is very active in her professional organizations. Currently she is a Spokesperson for the American Dietetic Association (ADA) and Licensure Chair for the Colorado Dietetic Association (CDA). While not working, Jessica can be found enjoying her favorite hobbies; such as, hiking, teaching aerobics, snowboarding, cooking and spending time with her husband Nathan and her dog Chopper.

Rebecca (Becky) Ebersole is nationally certified as a massage therapist specializing in Swedish, Mindful Touch Therapy, and Craniosacral Therapy massage techniques. TOP
Becky is experienced in a wide range of massage techniques. Prior to joining the Center, she provided massage and spa services for the Emerald Springs Body Spa in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where she trained in Kersten Florian, Naturopathica and Ayurvedica spa therapies. Before that, she provided services and helped develop various client programs at the Chapel Spa in Marietta, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage and is nationally certified as a massage therapist by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). She is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Becky is a memmber of the Progressive Health Center management team.


Lee Golub is a professional therapist specializing in Hands on Healing techniques, including Life Energy Flow Tai Yi ® and cranial sacral work.  TOP
Was honored as one of “Who’s Who Women in Colorado” for her work as a private practitioner, Lee has more than 21 years of experience in hands on healing. In addition to specializing in Tai Yi and cranial sacral therapy for over 12 years, Lee offers a wide range of therapies that include Healing Touch, Mari-El, Triom, reflexology, bioenergetics as well as Tai Yi and cranial sacral therapy.

Lee also offers Maori art self-assessment classes with meditations as well as holds workshops throughout the year at her Flowing Spirit Ranch, which encourages participants to experience self, laughter and rejuvenation in nature. Since 1987, she has also led annual spiritual retreats that allow individuals to be with dolphins and/or whales. Lee earned undergraduate degrees in both sociology and psychology from the University of Denver and attended Naropa College for graduate work.

Joanne James is a certified massage therapist specializing in oncology and geriatric massage. Her extensive therapeutic skills include Swedish, deep tissue, integrative and sports massage as well as reflexology, Jin Shin Jyutsu and trauma touch therapies.  TOP

In addition to providing specialized, integrative massage therapy to clients in her own office, Joanne provides specialized oncology massage to cancer patients in the Radiation Oncology Department at Swedish Medical Center and Sky Ridge Medical Center as well as in-home specialized oncology and geriatric massage to home care patients of Hospice of St. John and residents of three Denver area nursing homes. She also provides specialized oncology massage to cancer patients at Navitas Cancer Rehabilitation Center and for clients of the Diana Price Fish Foundation and Cherubim Foundation here in Colorado. Since 2003, Joanne has participated as Denver’s lead massage therapist in a national research study sponsored by the University of Colorado, entitled Reducing End of Life Symptoms Through Touch (REST). Joanne has advanced certifications in both oncology and geriatric massage and is experienced in Swedish, deep tissue, integrative and sports massage as well as body centered therapy, healing touch, polarity and trauma touch therapies. She also has extensive training in reflexology, facial massage and Jin Shin Jyutsu. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina and received a master's certificate from George Washington University in Federal Government Project Management.

Kim Oliva, is a certified yoga teacher, qualified to teach both adults and children. TOP
In 2007, she studied and trained with Karen Quinn at Rishis Crossing, receiving her Yoga Alliance Certification. She also received her certification with Abby Wills with Yoga Ed. providing certification to teach a K-8 curriculum and Tools for Teachers in the classroom as a piece for professional development. Kim has recently created an after-school programs for Elementary schools in Denver and Centennial entitled, “Mind, Body & Fun,” using the curriculum from Yoga Ed. Kim also teaches for The Wellness Initiative at Brown Elementary in Denver. She also teaches Family Yoga classes at Progressive Health Center and Gentle Restorative class at the Denver Athletic Club.

Barbara Noonan registered nurse (RN), a family environment specialist, is certified in healing touch, reiki, transpersonal hypnotherapy, and a nondenominational form of prayer. TOP
She is currently completing an additional certification in a form of homeopathy known as the Bach™ Flower Essences. Barbara founded the Institute of Medical Intuition and Energy Medicine, LLC, a professional organization that integrates traditional medical information with holistic treatment options to educate, inspire, and empower all who desire a greater sense of personal health and wellbeing. Barbara’s integrative health career spans more than twenty-eight years. Her extensive education background includes four years of continuous study in intuition development, energy medicine, and holistic health. During ‘An Intuitive Perspective Nurse Consultation’ at Progressive Health Center, you will receive medical intuitive and energy medicine information about your current health challenge, Healing Touch, and simple self-help suggestions. Barbara specializes in working with children and their families.

Karen Quinn is a certified yoga teacher and therapist with more than 6 years and 4,000 hours of experience in teaching and private yoga therapy. TOP

Karen is the director and lead instructor for the Rishis Crossing Yoga School, where she uses alignment and breath to help clients move and expand their awareness of the many levels of healing. Offering class and one-on-one instruction, her goal is to create a safe and open environment for individuals to balance and expand into their own experience of life. Karen received her certification as a yoga therapist from the RMIYA in Boulder, Colorado and has completed 1,200 hours of training in a variety of modalities, including anatomy, physiology; breathe practices, ayurveda, therapeutic touch, meditation, and inner conscious relaxation. In addition to yoga instruction and therapy, Karen has also worked with insurance companies, hospice, health care associations and hospital staff to examine and create a place of safety and calm around the shared experience of life’s ending.

O’Tasha Rivers practices the art of hands-on energy healing, specializing in Tai Yi and cranial sacral therapy. TOP

O’Tasha brings more than 15 years of experience in assisting individuals through alternative therapies to unify the mind, body and heart. Through this holistic approach, she helps individuals access and allow the expression of health, joy, love, creativity and purpose. She is a graduate of the School of Therapeutic Touch in Colorado and has completed more than 925 hours of study with a Master Healer in the Chinese art of Tai Yi. In addition to assisting clients in their lives and healing processes, O'Tasha has held key positions within various non- profit organizations, including board member and fundraising chair for the American Cancer Society in Colorado and serves as co-facilitator of annual wild dolphin swim workshops in Kona, Hawaii.

Susan Schmidt is a certified yoga instructor who brings more than 25 years of personal experience and a well developed awareness about the vast knowledge of the union of body, breath, and mind. TOP

After an initial introducing to yoga more than 30 years ago, Susan has continually developed her knowledge and teaching skills through unique study opportunities and teaching commitments. While the demands of raising four children limited ability to teach consistently over the next several years, Susan always continued her individual practice while furthering her studies of yoga philosophy. In 2001, she completed her 200-hour yoga instructor training with the Gentle Strength Yoga center in Denver and has continued her education by working with established leaders within the yoga community, including Karen Quinn. Susan has also attended six consecutive Yoga Journal Annual Conferences, studying with nationally known yoga teachers, and has also attended numerous continuing education workshops to refine her skills and expertise in various yoga therapies, including ayurvedic therapy. As a teacher, Susan's philosophy is that yoga should leave you feeling renewed, restored, and revitalized--regardless of age, gender or physical strength.

David Stevens is an accomplished instructor and guide in the art of meditation, utilizing a unique approach he calls "The Yoga of the Mind." Through this holistic, alternative healing practice, David helps individuals learn to meditate while developing intuitive skills through simple visualization and breathing.  TOP

In addition to managing his own successful business, The Yoga of the Mind, David has taught over 1,000 meditation classes and presented at over 50 public forums on the subjects of both meditation and intuition. As an associate teacher of Transcendental Meditation, he has taught at various locations throughout the U.S. and has even hosted a instructional meditation program, "The Inner Connection," on cable TV. Backed by more than 35 years of practice and advanced studies in mediation, David continues to refine his skills and knowledge through ongoing studies at the Avalon Institute and the Aesclepion Healing Center in northern California. He has earned both a bachelor's degree and MBA from Maharishi International University and completed extensive studies in meditation, yoga and personal development at More University in Lafayette, California. He also manages his own business consulting and accounting practice, which is in its 10th year of successful operation.


Joanne Wambeke, M.Ed., is a state Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a certified hypnotherapist (C.Ht.), and a certified practitioner in the Japanese healing art of Jin Shin Jyutsu®.   TOP

Joanne maintains a successful private practice in Denver, providing individual hypnotherapy and Jin Shin Jyutsu® healing services, as well as facilitating laughter yoga for groups and organizations. She teaches wellness classes such as Qigong, a traditional Chinese vitality and meditation practice, and self-help Jin Shin Jyutsu. In addition to her private practice, Joanne’s background includes over a dozen years of experience as a counselor in higher education, providing personal and career counseling as well as academic advising services. Joanne received her Master of Education degree in counseling from the University of Virginia in 1995. She also holds certificates in Sound Healing, Laughter Yoga, and Qigong. She enjoys working with adults to live happier, healthier lives.

Jan Wojcik Wilson is a certified massage therapist with advanced certifications in oncology massage therapy and geriatric massage therapy.   TOP
Her integrative massage practice incorporates various modalities that are tailored to each client's individual needs including Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular, prenatal, and facial massage techniques, as well as aromatherapy, reflexology, and reiki. In addition to her successful private massage therapy practice, Jan provides oncology massage therapy services to individuals in various clinical settings and is a massage provider for the Diana Price Fish Cancer Foundation. After a career spanning more than 15 years in health care administration, Jan graduated from the Colorado School of Healing Arts in 2000 and in 2003 completed certification at the school's Oncology Massage Therapy Program. She is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
