Karen J. Quinn

Certified Yoga Therapist, Registered Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Practitioner

Karen works with clients to alleviate pain, create balance and expand awareness of body, breath and healing. Offering classes and private sessions, she teaches individuals the many tools of yoga therapy to alleviate stress, improve sleep, ease chronic illnesses and repair athletic injuries. She is the director and lead instructor for the Rishis Crossing Yoga School, providing Yoga Alliance approved-200 hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Karen has completed 1,200 hours of training in a variety of modalities, including anatomy, physiology; breathe practices, ayurveda, therapeutic touch, meditation and inner conscious relaxation. Prior to her yoga career, Karen spent many years as a patient advocate and international public speaker, working with insurance companies, hospice, healthcare associations and hospital staff to examine and create a place of safety and calm around the shared experience of life’s ending.

Karen worked as the Executive Director of Leadership Denver Association and was CFO of Aerial Colorado, an aerial film company. For six years, she served on the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners and the Craig Hospital Board of Directors. Currently, she serves as a member of the Craig Hospital Foundation Board.
