Music Therapy

We utilize musical and non-musical activities to help clients realize their highest potential and reach their therapeutic goals. Musical activities can include active music making (on drums and other easily accessible instruments—regardless of musical ability), creating songs and song lyrics, listening to music, and analyzing/discussing song lyrics. Non-musical activities allow clients to talk about whatever is on their mind, in order to heal emotional wounds, resolve problems, and access their innate healing potential. Through my active listening, empathy and unconditional positive regard, clients are empowered to develop and bring greater awareness to their own strengths, resources and life direction/purpose. Our services include individual music therapy and psychotherapy, and group music therapy.
