Supporting Colorado’s Essential Healthcare Workers

Front-line healthcare workers are keeping Colorado safe from the Corona virus. These essential people face daily anxiety: Not just doctors and nurses, but also hospital staff in environmental, food, and nutrition services.

Progressive Health Center is a Denver non-profit helping healthcare teams relieve stress and job burnout. PHC is dedicated to the concept of wellness within reach, where mind-body relief is both affordable and available, just a few steps away at the hospital work site.

“Our floor is super busy. A brief wellness experience brought my stress level from a 10 to a 4. Thank you!"

PHC Mission

PHC raises funds so essential healthcare workers can get stress relief at work, regardless of ability to pay. Donations are awarded to hospital staff who otherwise could not afford the cost of Integrative Health. Everybody wins: Patients, families, the entire community.

Denver, CO, Thursday, October 21, 2021-- Covid-19 is pressuring the people who provide essential medical care. Tremendous stress is impacting those working in hospital Food and Nutrition Services (FANS), Environmental Services, and Nursing, and their patients and families. This pandemic compounds fears about physical, mental, and financial health.

Burnout and turnover are serious issues. Wellness programs address this by nurturing resilience, substantially benefiting care providers and the healthcare system. Progressive Health Center (PHC) is proud to donate wellness gift cards to Colorado’s healthcare front line, redeemable for health coaching, massage therapy, and acupuncture at the hospital workplace.

“Gift card recipients are very enthusiastic, saying the treatments relieve stress, promote emotional wellbeing, and raise their resilience set points,” says Sue Goodin, Founder of Progressive Health Center.

How people can help.

Donate to PHC. Gifts are awarded as wellness gift cards to applicants within the Colorado healthcare community. Give back to frontline healthcare workers so they can better care for themselves, their families, and their patients. Each donation is a gift to our entire community.
