Creating a life of abundance is about giving from your saucer, not your cup. Let’s imagine you are a tea cup on a saucer..
Abundance looks like your cup is overflowing on to the saucer. But when we constantly give, give, give–whether to job or family demands, people pleasing tendencies, or the ever-increasing modern day demands–our saucer and our cup runs dry. When it is dry, we are tired and irritable, performance decreases, and down the road we get chronic disease and illness
Fill what’s in your cup first!
Even to the point of overflow. Once you are full, then you can serve from the saucer; feel vibrant and energetic, thrive in your work and relationships, and actualize our dreams.
So, how do you fill your cup? This is different for everyone, but doesn’t have to take a lot of time. Find small moments that bring you joy, take 30 seconds to close your eyes and deep breath, while driving think of someone you are grateful for. These are just a few of the countless examples of small ways to fill your cup. Remembering that these will add up to overflow, abundance and incredible health! By Leslie Conzemius
